Snowbuddy Lift Lock
Components
The Lift Lock allows the Snowbuddy to be used as parking stand. Some riders need to lift the track of their snowmobile off of the snow during overnight parking. People who live in extremely cold places or who travel by snowmobile most of the winter often find their tracks frozen to the snow.

How to Use
The Lift Lock has a small bracket that is bolted to the grab bar of the snowmobile. The jack handle is clicked on to the shovel blade in place of the lower shaft. The shovel blade is unlocked and placed on the snow with the jack handle resting against the bracket on the grab bar. A sleeve is placed around the jack handle and locked into the bracket on the snowmobile with two pins. The jack head is set into the jack handle. The lower shaft is used a jack handle. The snowmobile is lifted until the track is clear of the snow. A third pin is placed in the jack handle a little below the bottom of the sleeve. The snowmobile is lowered until its weight is resting on the third pin. The cable is unhooked from the grab bar and the jack head is lifted out of the jack handle. The jack handle is supporting the weight of the snowmobile and the sleeve is locked into the grab bar bracket prevent the snowmobile from falling to the side.
A detailed description of mounting and using the Lift Lock is included in the videotape "Snowbuddy 101".
